Deck structure (current model)

Every Fluxx deck is built from two parts:

  1. Cold Open — shared across all decks. The audience-agnostic narrative spine (the S132 cold pitch spine; 8 slides; revised S133/S134/S135; cost reframe per S139). One Cold Open, used everywhere — it does not fork per audience. Canonical artifact: Fluxx_Pitch_Cold_v1 (deferred from S138).
  2. Audience-specific appendix — the only part that forks. Each audience (investor cohort, seed cohort, production / BTS, etc.) gets its own appendix appended after the Cold Open. The appendix carries the audience-tailored detail; the Cold Open carries the universal story.

This supersedes the prior per-round Pitch / Teaser / Appendix fork model, where each audience got a full forked Pitch + Teaser + Appendix set. Under the new model the spine is stable and shared; only the appendix is audience work. (Root CLAUDE.md Naming Conventions doctrine still describes the old model — flagged for reconciliation.)

Inventory below predates this structure. The decks listed here were built under the old fork model and pre-S133 framing (retired 40% number; current line is 50% on VFX = floor, per S139 / Q-G20 Variant G / Q-G57 §5). Treat them as legacy until rebuilt as Cold Open + audience appendix. Refresh this page when Fluxx_Pitch_Cold_v1 ships.

What’s missing

Sony Come-to-Demo deck — not being built. The JV / Sony path is retired (S149, Q-G96). What Demo 2 needs is an investor-agnostic Series A deck for the White Dragon Technology Demo; the “Latest pitch deck” link in White Dragon June 2026 hedges until that ships.

Edit protocol

Per CLAUDE.md root Pitch Deck Brief Rule (HARD GATE — body at 04_Fluxx_Shared/_Master_Canon/Doctrine/Pitch_Deck_Brief_Rule.md): no deck build, rewrite, or audience fork starts without a filled Pre-Deck Brief at 03_Fluxx_Private/Deck/Briefs/.

Per Pitch Deck Sharing Rule in CLAUDE.md: when a new deck is created or updated, working copy goes to 02_Working/Pitch_Decks/, then immediately copied to 04_Fluxx_Shared/Investor_Relations/Current/, and the entry in Notion Current Versions database created or updated.

Cold Open vs appendix (new model). The Cold Open is shared and rarely changes — treat edits to it as canon-level, since they affect every deck. Audience work happens in the appendix. A Pre-Deck Brief is still required for each new audience appendix (the audience fork); the Cold Open is briefed once and reused.
