Why this wiki exists

Layer 1 of the three-layer canon architecture sketched at S98 (Brain Reorg v0.3). The live canon surface for the Fluxx team — Kevin, Ari, Nick — to find the current state of Fluxx canon, the latest shipped artifacts, historical context, and the validation state of the canon substrate.

The wiki composes from existing source-of-truth files in Kevin_Brain. The source files are authoritative. This wiki is a generated read surface.

What changed recently

Org & deck restructure (S149, 2026-06-01):

  • Ari Jampolsky retitled CPO (Chief Production Officer) & Co-Founder, leveled as a C-level peer above the COO. Supersedes the S126 “Executive Director” lock. Team Architecture + Team pages updated; cascade to Q-G / Team_Bios / v2.0 financial model still pending.
  • Jeff Brown retitled Studio Relations — part-time studio point person. Prior “Mentor” title and equity-only designation removed. Supersedes the Q-G9 title lock; canonical Q-G9 update pending.
  • Team-page salaries set to TBD. All placeholder comp figures (per-person lines and the Y5 projection table) now read TBD pending the financial model. Equity percentages unchanged.
  • Deck structure reframed: Cold Open + audience appendix. Every deck is now a shared Cold Open (audience-agnostic spine, used for all decks) plus an audience-specific appendix — supersedes the prior per-round Pitch / Teaser / Appendix fork model. CLAUDE.md Naming Conventions doctrine reconciliation pending.

Sony / Fusion retirement sweep (S149, 2026-06-01):

  • The JV / Sony partnership path is retired (new lock Q-G96). Fluxx proceeds standalone. GlassBox continues as a Cat 3 vendor, not a JV.
  • Demo 2 reframed from “Sony Pitch” to the White Dragon Technology Demo — an investor-agnostic Series A technology demonstration.
  • The sony audience tier is retired — removed from all 88 entries that carried it and dropped from the closed set; Q-G89, Default Fluxx Scope, and Decision Authority annotated.
  • Fabrixx rename cascade finished in 00_Context/ — the last live “Fusion” product-name references (Glossary, Overview, bios, stack) now read Fluxx Platform / Fluxx Automate / Fluxx Vault / Fabrixx. JV-scope “Fusion” and verbatim/historical references retained.

AI-stance cascade (S145, 2026-05-30):

  • The final-pixel wall is retired. Q-G18 revised: the one hard wall is now performance and likeness (Q-G50), not the pixel. Generative AI may deliver the final pixel for full-CG shots that carry no recognizable human performance or likeness (establishing shots, cityscapes, space battles, large-scale destruction, environments, spectacle).
  • Governing test is “actor-driven vs. not,” never “action vs. non-action.” A performer’s face or performance inside an otherwise-generative shot stays governed by the human-likeness policy (never generative).
  • Provenance is unchanged and strengthened: every generative element, including new final-pixel shots, is tracked in the Fluxx Vault for studio EU AI Act Article 50 disclosure.
  • process/ai-provenance-human-likeness.md swept; canon Q-G18 + Q-G50 are the source of truth.

Fabrixx cascade (S142, 2026-05-30):

  • The near-time render pipeline is now Fabrixx (Q-G66 name lock, S141): Fusion Cloud → Fabrixx, Fusion Vault → Fluxx Vault, Fusion Ingest → Fluxx Automate; the umbrella is the Fluxx Platform.
  • Naming meaning reframed — Fabrixx weaves Production, VFX and Virtual Production into one (not “fuses”).
  • JV-scope “Fusion” deliberately retained (Q-G89): the Sony / JV partnership-tier identifier is unchanged.
  • Cloud / Ingest-Vault naming questions closed (Q-G91 §3, Q-G33); Q-G14 renamed. Canon, overviews, and this wiki swept; commit 03ad0ca.

Phase 0 ship (S120, 2026-05-19):

  • _Master_Canon/ substrate stood up with 7 pilot Q-Gs mirrored and 2 doctrine pilots migrated from CLAUDE.md (Logo Guardrail + Pitch Deck Brief Rule).
  • Two new canon locks: Q-G88 (ComposiTrack is canonical product name everywhere; ChromaTrack patent-only) and Q-G89 (JV / Fusion excluded from Fluxx canon).
  • Wiki at wiki.fluxxvp.com live, gated to the Fluxx team (kevin / ari / nick) via Cloudflare Access (S126).
  • Canon Gaps page populated with the standing audit-adjacent gaps from S118.

Status

Switchover delivered at S125 (2026-05-20): _Master_Canon/Q-G/ is now the sole canonical Q-G location (94 entries) and OPEN_QUESTIONS.md is retired. Access is single-tier “Fluxx team access” — Kevin, Ari, Nick (@fluxxvp.com), MFA required — opened at S126 (2026-05-20); the original Tier 1 / Tier 2 path-scoped split was retired. Validation pages remain as the canon-health surface. Deferred: Google IdP cutover; full canon-rendering build (Goal A Phase 5).
